Runs an drives excellent. It has a lot of power an shifts very smoothly. The truck feels tight an solid as it goes down the road. A honest truck that has survived the test of time. The ac is ice cold an has been converted from r 112 to r 143a. At the same time all of the o rings in the ac system were changed. The lines were flushed an new oil was put in the compressor. The motor has recently had a major tune up which includes. New spark plugs,spark plug wires,ignition cap and rotor,new water pump an coolant flush. The quadrajet carburetor was professionally rebuilt . All of the vacuum lines were replaced. New belts ac,power steering,alternator. The brake fluid was flushed. New battery was installed. All of the fluid reservoirs,coolant,wiper,clutch master were replaced with new from lmc trucks. The interior is in perfect condition. All original, except for the head liner it has been replaced. The dash board is flawless no fading or cracks at all. The gauges are crystal clear, all in working condition. The seats look as it has never been sat on. No wear at all in the interior which is rare for a truck. The pedals look like brand new as well as the steering wheel and stick shift knob. All of the buttons on the radio are perfect the radio works. The climate control is also perfect. Door panels look as if whom ever drove it never rested their arm on the door. I have never see an original interior this clean, it is a 10. The exterior is outstanding, the body of the truck was super straight. It was wet sanded and sealed. No body work was needed. There is no bondo on the truck at all which is almost unheard of. Original super straight body. Has all original panels, never been in an accident. It was re-painted with dupont base coat and clear coat that gives the truck a mirror like shine. All of the side moldings are from lmc. The drip edge and the wheel opening trim have been re-polished. All 4 of the head lights have been re-placed. Also all of the light bulbs that illuminate the exterior lights. The tail lights are mint no fading or cracking. The rims were painted tires off inside and out to match the truck. The tires are bf goodrich load range e and have 95% thread. New chrome lug nuts were installed. The grill was taken into pieces and painted. The white on it is not a sticker its painted. The dark grey is also base/clear. Same paint used on the rear bumper. The truck is an all around great truck. This 1986 chevy silverado c-30 is going to be sold with no reserve. It will go to the highest bidder. The 'burb was completely redesigned for 2000, and this year's model benefits from major mid-cycle revisions. some of the changes can be seen, including the climate controls and a new family of radios, both of which are easier to use yet more powerful and more sophisticated than last year's. Xm satellite radio is available, along with a new panasonic dvd system for back-seat monkeys. other changes are harder to discern, but are more important. Dual-stage front airbags provide improved safety in an accident, while the availability of the stabilitrak electronic stability control system lessens the chance of losing control. Adjustable pedals are available for an improved driving position. And an all-new electrical architecture promises improved reliability. in spite of all these changes, the suburban's mission has not wavered. It remains the first choice for anyone who needs to haul six or more people plus their cargo. It's based on an excellent full-size truck frame and its v8 engines deliver strong torque for towing heavy loads. The suburban provides a stable, comfortable ride for long-distance travel. Sensors in the front passenger seat and seat belts also measure the weight and size of the front-seat passenger and, if that passenger is child-size, shut the airbag down completely. . driving impressionride quality in the chevy suburban 1500 is smooth, greatly improved over the previous-generation. The now-standard premium smooth ride suspension features a hydraulically controlled rear self-leveling system to keep the suburban at normal ride height, even when carrying heavy loads. Whether towing a horse trailer or picking up a soccer team, autoride continually adjusts the suspension for optimum ride and handling. The steering is responsive and doesn't isolate the driver from the road. The suburban grips the road surprisingly well for such a large vehicle. Driving quickly over wet pavement on mountain roads, we never lost traction. We drove into wet turns as quickly as we'd ever want to go in a suburban and never lost grip. Stabilitrak measures where the driver is steering against where the truck is actually heading and, when necessary, reduces engine torque or selectively applies one or more wheel brakes to correct the suburban's path. They are rated to tow up to 12,000 pounds, which tops even the ford excursion by half a ton.
